Hola! Todavía estoy buscando un departamento con las siguientes características:

- Comuna de Providencia o Santiago (sector Parque Forestal/Bellas Artes). Ñuñoa y Las Condes también son posibilidades.
- Cerca de buen transporte público.
- De preferencia 2 dormitorios, podrían ser 3 o 2 más pieza de servicio.
- 2 baños.
- Mínimo 80m2.
- Ojalá con terraza pero no es necesario.
- En buen estado - incluyendo cocina y baños.
- De preferencia departamento antiguo.
- Piso parquet o vitrificado en living. Podría ser piso flotante pero no alfombrado.
- Estacionamiento para una moto - no necesariamente estacionamiento propio, pero en el edificio o cerca.

Además tenemos una perrita pequeña (10 kilos), asi que el edificio debe permitir perros y se queda cerca de algún parque aún mejor. Bien específica mi necesidad! Presupuesto: $53.000.000, podría ser un poco más por el departamento perfecto. Me gustaría agendar visitas durante la semana que viene, hora de almuerzo durante la semana o a cualquier hora sabado 9. Gracias de antemano.

Jean alterations

The woman I usually go to for alterations is out of town, so I need to find someone new! Do you or anyone you know do quality alterations? I need to hem some jeans so that they don't looked hemmed (ie. put the original hem back on rather than leaving them looking weird), which is why I don't want to try my luck with just anyone - and I need them done by next Friday. Can drop off today or Monday but not during the weekend. This is in the Peninsula. Thanks!

Stop unwanted mail

Question for the US-based users: how can I stop all the crap mail that I get on a daily basis? I don't even live in the US anymore anyway!

I would love to know if there's a one-step way to get rid of catalogs, junk mail, coupons, credit card offers, etc. Any ideas? Thanks!

Yahoo Finance

I've just started tracking my portfolio on Yahoo Finance because someone told me I'd be able to see a graph of my portfolio as a whole. So far I've only seen graphs of the individual positions - honestly I don't care about each position, I want to know about my account overall! And watch it slowly plummet into nothingness with the way the market is these days...ah well. Anyone have experience using Yahoo Finance and know if those graphs exist? Thanks!

Environmentally friendly dog clean-up?

This may sound slightly crazy, but it's something I really do need! We live in an apartment, so our dog gets taken to the park at least 3 times a day to run around and yes, poop. As good dog owners, we pick up after her, but throwing away 3 plastic bags each day is driving my environmentalist self crazy!

Anyone know of an environmentally friendly way to clean up after your dog? My immediate thought is that they might sell biodegradable bags, but any idea would help. Thanks!
